Community infections due to the Covid_19 virus has more than ever before, stressed the need to wash our hands properly. The advice is to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds but a lot of people have no idea of how to go about it. Sadly, parents who cannot wash their hands properly cannot also teach their children how to wash their hands properly. Compounding matters, poor hand washing can endanger the well-being of family members especially the vulnerable ones such as elderly ones and children. So also is washing our hands using uncovered water that could be contaminated or substituting hand washing with the use of hand sanitizers.
